Glowing Garden
Introduction
Glowing Garden is a 2D mushroom growing game. You play as Mico, a young mushroom sprite, as your world is in the midst of a magical surge. It's your job to gather magical nutrients - Mycos - and use them to sprout magical glowing mushrooms! Glowing garden is meant to be a mindful, relaxation experience. There is no end goal but to grow a garden of mushrooms.
Gameplay
Mico can explore the overground mushroom forest and the magical soil underground. While overground, you can use your mouse cursor and left mouse button to walk horizontally. You can also use the right mouse button to jump.
You can move freely between the overground and underground by digging through the soil.
While underground you can expand your mycelium network in any direction by digging through the soil. As you dig, you can also collect magical nutrients used to grow bio-luminescent mushrooms on the surface.
Resurfacing with these nutrients will sprout a mushroom buddy that grows into a full mushroom over time.

The whole aesthetic of the mushrooms is absolutely adorable, chill music too. Its great to get sucked into and put off cleaning my kitchen because I've played for 41 minutes this morning and I still have no clean dishes. Underground I'd purposefully crash my little dude just to see his cute lil mushroom face reaction. I only encountered one small problem where it seemed I wasn't able to collect Mycos anymore even with space and stamina remaining and I was sad that I'd disappoint my new role model. However this turned out to be very easily solvable as I just went back up the surface and watched my lil dude hang out with his mama for a couple minutes and it seemed to have fixed itself when I went back down. Overall an incredibly cute game. Mushroom supremacy for life. Oh and I have a special appreciation for whoever came up with the animation where you're recharging so you plant yourself in the ground. Glow up hun, its a glow up
This was super cute. The music was nice, the mushrooms were varied and realistic, and the stuff underground made it feel a bit magical. I did encounter a glitch, though. After growing a bunch of mushrooms, I was hopping on top of them and off them, just moving around looking at my garden. One time I hopped on one then hopped off, and I fell right through the ground as if it wasn't there. I ended up landing on an object underground, then walked off it and fell to the bottom. I couldn't start digging from there so I had to quit, which was pretty upsetting.
love it but it is really easy to get stuck between your mushrooms maybe a respawn or reset feature but i reallyt like the game
